I really wish that both Dora and Go! Diego Go! would speak 100% English. Is it bad to want your kids favorite shows to be in the same language you speak in your home?
It's hard enough to teach kids to talk, our twin boys are delayed in their language development. The hour of tv they watch every day always includes at least one 20 minute show of Deigo or Dora. I hear Dora counting in Spanish, or Diego asking them to repeat something in Spanish and I just cringe.
Maybe I should just shut off the tv for good. Yeah, right. Momma needs time to cook dinner and she needs her "internet time".
